At Monvro, we treat every book like a rare artifact. Whether you are ordering a limited edition Graphic Novel or a classic Mystery Thriller, we understand that condition is everything. A bent corner or a scratched cover is simply unacceptable.

That is why we don’t rush. We package every order with the precision and care of a collector, ensuring your books travel from our San Diego library to your hands safely.

🌎 1. Where We Ship

Currently, our delivery network is focused exclusively on the Contiguous United States (the lower 48 states).

Exceptions & Restrictions: To ensure the safety and speed of our deliveries via FedEx, we are currently unable to ship to:

  • Alaska and Hawaii.
  • P.O. Boxes (We require a physical street address for secure delivery).
  • APO/FPO/DPO Military Addresses.
  • International locations.

⏱️ 2. Fulfillment & Delivery Timeline

We are a team of book lovers, not robots. We take the time to inspect every spine, cover, and page edge before sealing the box.

Phase 1: Inspection & Packing (Processing) Once you place an order, we pull the book from our shelves and perform a quality check.

  • Processing Time: 2 – 4 Business Days (Monday – Friday).
  • Order Cut-Off: 04:00 PM Pacific Time (PT). (Note: Orders placed after 4 PM will enter the inspection queue the following business day.)

Phase 2: Transit (The Journey) We trust FedEx to handle our shipments with the care they deserve.

  • Transit Time: 6 – 8 Business Days (Monday – Friday).

Total Estimated Wait: generally, you can expect to settle in with your new book within 8 to 12 business days from the moment you confirm your order.

💰 3. Shipping Rates

We keep our shipping fees straightforward, allowing you to build your collection without worrying about complicated postage math.

  • Orders over $99.00: FREE Standard Shipping.
  • Orders under $99.00: Flat Rate of $7.99.

We do not charge any hidden handling fees. The $7.99 flat rate covers the cost of heavy-duty packaging materials (to protect book corners) and the FedEx ground service.

📋 4. Sales Tax Policy

We follow the law, not the crowd. We do not apply a blanket tax rate to everyone. Instead, our checkout system calculates the precise sales tax required by your specific state and zip code. You will see the exact tax amount listed as a separate line item before you finalize your payment.

📦 5. Tracking Your Library

We know the anticipation of waiting for a new story. As soon as FedEx picks up your package from our facility, we will email you a Tracking Number.

  • Please Note: It is common for the tracking link to show “Label Created” for up to 24 hours while the package is being sorted at the local carrier facility. Please be patient; it is on its way.

📍 6. Address Accuracy

Books are heavy, and shipping them twice is costly. Please double-check your shipping details.

  • Typo Correction: If you spot a mistake after ordering, email contact@monvro.com immediately. If your order is still in our “Processing” phase, we can fix it.
  • Too Late: Once FedEx has the package, we cannot reroute it. We are not responsible for deliveries to incorrect addresses provided at checkout.

7. The “Perfect Spine” Guarantee (Damaged Items)

We know that for comic and book collectors, a bent corner is a heartbreak. We pack securely to prevent this, but sometimes the road is rough.

If your book arrives damaged (crushed spine, torn cover, or water damage):

  1. Snap a clear photo of the damage and the shipping box.
  2. Email it to us within 48 hours of delivery.
  3. We will send a replacement copy (if in stock) or issue a full refund immediately.

Lost Packages: If tracking says “Delivered” but your porch is empty, please check with neighbors first. If it remains missing after 24 hours, contact us so we can open an investigation with FedEx.

🛠️ 8. Issue Resolution

We value your reading time. For any shipping issues (delays, damages, or lost items), our support team commits to investigating and providing a resolution (Refund, Reship, or Credit) within 5 – 7 business days of receiving your report.

⚠️ 9. Delays Outside Our Control

While we aim for prompt delivery, we cannot control everything. Severe weather, natural disasters, or carrier operational meltdowns may cause delays beyond the 6-8 day window. In these rare cases, we ask for your patience and will help you stay updated via tracking.
