Why We Exist
The internet is loud. Algorithms are constantly shouting at you to buy things you don’t need. We wanted to build a corner of the internet that feels… quiet.
We don’t try to be “The Everything Store.” We don’t have millions of titles. We don’t have drones. What we have is a warehouse in San Diego filled with books that we actually like.

Let’s be real for a second. Starting a bookstore in 2026 sounds a bit crazy, right? Everything is digital now. Everything is on a screen.
But that’s exactly why I started Monvro.
I missed the feeling of turning a page. I missed the smell of a new Graphic Novel. I wanted to build a business that honors that physical connection.
Since Monvro is a new, small business, I wear a lot of hats here. Sometimes I’m the buyer, scouting for the best new Thrillers. Sometimes I’m the customer support agent answering your emails. And yes, often I’m the one packing your box, making sure the corners are protected so your book arrives perfect.
We might be small, but we are real. When you buy from us, you aren’t paying for a CEO’s third vacation home. You are helping a small team in San Diego keep the lights on and keep the books moving.
