1. Product Representation (Covers & Editions)
We work hard to ensure the images on our website match the books in our San Diego warehouse. However, the publishing world moves fast.
- Cover Art: Publishers often refresh cover art while keeping the same ISBN. Occasionally, the book you receive might have a slightly different cover design than the one pictured on our site. This is not considered a defect, but rather a variation in printing editions.
- Screen vs. Paper: Please remember that the colors on your digital screen (RGB) may look slightly different from the actual printed ink on the matte or glossy paper of a Graphic Novel.
- Condition: Unless explicitly marked as “Used” or “Remainder,” all books sold on Monvro are Brand New.
2. Content Discretion (Reader Advisory)
We sell stories, and some of them are intense.
Genre Warning: Our collection focuses heavily on Mystery, Thrillers, and Graphic Novels. These genres often contain mature themes, violence, or psychological horror.
Reader Responsibility: We do not censor content. We rely on you, the reader (or parent/guardian), to review the book’s synopsis and age rating before purchasing. We are not responsible if a storyline is not to your personal taste or if a thriller keeps you up all night.
3. Shipping and Delivery Estimates
We treat every package with care, but we cannot control the universe.
- Estimates Only: The timelines listed in our Shipping Policy (Processing: 2-4 days, Transit: 6-8 days) are estimates based on normal conditions.
- Third-Party Carriers: Once we hand your box to FedEx, we are no longer in control of its journey. We are not liable for delays caused by severe weather, carrier strikes, or holiday backlogs. However, we will always help you track down a lost package.
4. Limitation of Liability
We sell books, not life advice.
“As Is”: Our service is provided “as is.” While we curate our selection carefully, Chevarim LLC does not guarantee that every book will meet your expectations or that our website will be completely error-free at all times.
Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of our products. Our liability is strictly capped at the purchase price of the book in question.
5. Affiliate Disclosure
We are an independent bookseller.
Transparency: Our primary goal is to sell the inventory we physically own. However, if our blog or social media ever includes a link to a third-party product where we might earn a small commission (Affiliate Link), we will explicitly state this at the top of that post. - Heavy Lifting: If you order a large stack of hardcovers or an omnibus Graphic Novel, please lift the delivery box with your legs, not your back.
- Paper Cuts: They happen to the best of us. Handle crisp new pages with care.
