Why We Exist
The internet is loud. Algorithms are constantly shouting at you to buy things you don’t need. We wanted to build a corner of the internet that feels… quiet.
We don’t try to be “The Everything Store.” We don’t have millions of titles. We don’t have drones. What we have is a warehouse in San Diego filled with books that we actually like.
The “Hand-Picked” Philosophy
We operate on a simple rule: If we wouldn’t put it on our shelf, we won’t sell it to you. Because we own our inventory (we don’t drop-ship from a random factory), we see every book. We feel the weight of the paper. We check the binding.
